this year;
a year of crazy whirlwinds, and total 360s.
a year of old friend bonding, and new friends made,
a year of boozing away every tear, and then laughing about it later,
a year of the best memories ever, although some of them may have been lost inside a vodka bottle,
a year of finding who my true friends are,
a year of making the most amazing new friendships thanks to the shittiest old boys,
a year of realizing that i can be in a relationship,
a year of realizing that i do adore being single, a lot more,
a year of late nights, late mornings,
a year of all nighters,
a year of get togethers with twenty of your closest friends,
a year of being "that girl,"
a year of not coming home on time,
a year of not coming home at all,
a year of paying consequences,
a year of learning how to maneuver your way around those consequences,
a year of absolute shit disturbing to the maximum,
a year of not giving a shit,
a year of letting go of inhibitions,
a year of finding out that imperfections are what make life truly perfect,
a year of being best friends with the same person for the fifth consecutive year,
a year of shady boys,
a year of awesome boys steering you clear of the shady ones,
a year of eating sushi like its my fucking job,
a year of swearing profusely... and not giving a fuck,
a year of figuring out that i can talk myself into anything,
a year of learning that no matter what, i can convince myself that what i'm doing is the right thing.
a year of sloppiness.
a year of finding people that share that sloppiness.
a year of revelations,
a year of realizing that no matter how hard i fuck up, i will still always have fun,
a year of realizing that my girls mean the universe to me,
a year of realizing that male figures do not last, but do provide lasting entertainment,
a year of being bold,
a year of being daring,
a year of taking chances,
a year of being myself,
a year i will always remember.
